Lake’s

boating opportunities. Fishing is permitted year round, 24/7,
and the lake is teaming with black bass, catfish, blue gill,
and crappie.

With more than 100 miles of scenic shoreline,
the lake and its environs offer the outdoor enthusiast dozens
of great escapes. The lake is ideal for jet skiing, waterskiing,
wake boarding, or parasailing. Hikers will find plenty to explore
on trails that take them from sandy coves to wooded hills and
up majestic mountains. There are a number of excellent guided
tours available, just check with our guest attendants when you
arrive or give us a call in advance, and we’ll be happy
to supply you with specifics. Anderson Marsh Historical State
Park offers nature and bird-watching tours as well as tours of
Native American archeological sites. |
Lake County provides rock hounds with plenty to explore. You’ll
find onyx, jasper, obsidian on our local trails as well as fossils
and artifacts from Native American tribes.
After a rewarding morning of fishing on the lake,
you may want to spend the afternoon poolside. Lake Escape’s swimming pool
is available to all our guests, dive in or lounge on the generous deck
taking in the lake views. The resort’s gently sloping beach is
a great, safe place to swim too. Our sandy beach and grassy peninsula
are perfect spots on which to roll out your beach towel and bask in
the sun.
